After a long yet rewarding drive, warm up with a steaming cup of tea before checking into your cozy hotel room.

Overnight stay: Rampur/Kalpa

After a restful night, we continue our journey on the legendary Hindustan-Tibet Highway, famed for its rugged terrain and stunning views. The road winds through the last hamlet of Kinnaur, Nako, where we stop for a warm, hearty lunch. From here, we enter the magical realm of Spiti Valley. By evening, we reach Tabo, home to the ancient Tabo Monastery, where we check into an authentic homestay and enjoy a peaceful night.

We start the day by visiting the 1000-year-old Tabo Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage site. From Tabo, we drive to Pin Valley, a breathtaking national park home to the elusive snow leopard. After visiting the Kungri Monastery and the picturesque village of Mudh, we head towards Kaza, the heart of Spiti Valley. Depending on road conditions, we may explore Dhankar, a historic village with a monastery perched dramatically on a cliff. The day ends in Kaza, where we settle into a cozy homestay.

A highlight of any Spiti trip is a visit to Ki Monastery, a 1000-year-old Tibetan monastery that stands tall amidst the snow-covered mountains. This monastery, perched at 13,668 feet, is a center of learning and spirituality. From here, we continue to Kibber, one of the highest inhabited villages in the world, and then head to Chicham, home to Asia's highest bridge. The views from Chicham Bridge, standing at 13,596 feet, are simply awe-inspiring. After a day of exploration, we return to Kaza for the night. Overnight stay: Kaza
